My Accolades
2013 5280 Magazine “Top Wealth Managers in Denver”

My Professional Background

I joined Benjamin F. Edwards & Co. in 2014, having started my financial services career in 2006. In 2012, Jason Clouse and I combined our practices, and we added our trusted associate, Maria Lucido, as a senior registered financial client associate. The Bench-Clouse Investment Group was formed.

Before moving into the financial services sector, I previously worked with a large privately owned defense contractor with an office at the National Geospatial-lntelligene Agency in St. Louis, Mo. After spending a few years in the geospatial intelligence sector, it seemed to be a natural career progression to move to an Innovative aerial photography firm. In that position, I served in a project management capacity while working with county tax assessors from around the country to provide high-resolution aerial imagery. Some notable projects Included flood damage assessments in the mid-west and hurricane disaster assessments following Hurricanes Frances and Katrina.

Jacksonville, Fla. Is my childhood home, and I completed high school in Sioux Falls, S.D. After graduating from the University of North Dakota in 1999, my wife, Paula, and I moved to Colorado In 2006 to satisfy our love of the outdoors and our passion for skiing. We now have a son, Denton, who shares our passion for the outdoors.
