My Professional Approach

In my 10 years as an operations manager supervising more than 500 employees for a large healthy food manufacturer, I learned firsthand how every individual is unique and the importance of trust. This holds true in the financial services arena, even as I apply my analytical and strategic planning expertise to investment planning.

As I work with our team leader, Joseph (Joey) Hurston, to prepare an investment approach, we start by spending time with you and getting to know you. We’ll ask questions and listen to your answers. Your responses will help guide us as we develop a plan that addresses your unique financial situation and tolerance for risk. Finally, we’ll put that plan into action and meet periodically to evaluate its progress. During those meetings, we’ll also catch up on any developments that may require us to adjust our direction.

I recognize trust doesn’t happen overnight, but I very much look forward to earning yours.

My Background

After graduating from Ole Miss, I worked as an Operations Manager at Taylor Farms in Orlando, Fla. for 10 years. I moved into financial services because I wanted to use my analytical abilities to help people prepare financially. I want to work with families as they develop plans to send their kids to college, strive for a secure, retirement, and pass their assets to their loved ones. Having joined the Hattiesburg office of Benjamin F. Edwards & Co. in 2017, I am looking forward to assisting my clients as they structure strategic investment portfolios to meet their investment and personal goals.

When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife Sara and our two sons. In addition, I am a member of Venture Church, treasurer for the Ole Miss Rugby Team, and love to hike and bird hunt.
