MY PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Before joining Benjamin F. Edwards & Co. in 2014, I worked in management for a regional bank. Over the course of my six years there, I managed three different branches and received three annual presidential awards, where I was recognized for my customer service and operational skills. During my tenure in banking, I found that I thoroughly enjoyed assisting my clients and frequently counseled successful entrepreneurs as they worked to build their businesses.

It was apparent a career involving self-reliance, decision-making, and helping people with informed advice was what I was suited for. I loved all of it. That, along with a desire to help clients on a personal level, is why I moved into a career in financial services in 2010. I partnered with Eric Bench in 2012 and soon after we brought aboard Maria Lucido Mustard as our senior registered financial client associate. Together, we formed the Bench-Clouse Investment Group.

Born and raised across the Hudson River from New York City, I moved to “Colorful” Colorado in 1995, to attend Colorado State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with an emphasis in business development.

Today, I work to nurture my passion for the outdoors, but spend most of my time taking care of our clients and my family. My wife and I, along with our two children reside in a community centered within one of nature’s geological jewels, Roxborough Park. Outside of work and play, we spend time volunteering at our kids’ charter school and coaching their extracurricular activities.
