My Professional Approach
In the heart of central Texas, the Snowden Investment Group of Benjamin F. Edwards & Co. focuses on providing individuals, families, and small business owners with knowledge and service to manage their finances responsibly and wisely. As Christians, with a multi-disciplined background in family business and STEM and medical-related professions and industries, we understand the unique challenges that small businesses face. We concentrate on helping you understand economic cycles and market volatility and systematically approach implementing goal oriented plans for preserving capital, generating income, building a family legacy, planning for education and retirement, and wisely stewarding your family’s and business’s resources.
We begin by helping you identify personal and family goals, and then work with you to establish the financial plan to reach these goals. We work with you to establish your risk tolerance, anticipation for return and strive to meet your needs through a wide variety of financial services and strategies.
Financial planning software is used to determine your probability of success. Once the plan is implemented, we monitor your portfolio and meet with you on a regular basis to ensure the plan stays on track with your objectives and to determine if any tweaks are necessary.
Our firm, Benjamin F. Edwards & Co., shares our commitment to client-first service. That’s why we joined the firm in 2018 to open the Temple, Texas office location.
As Christians, it is our desire to serve God by serving you. We seek to embody the Edwards family’s approach of placing clients’ needs first. We work together to provide you with trusted investment advice, and we look forward to the opportunity to serve you.
I recently served as the Director of Manufacturing Engineering at Solid Rock Enterprises, a family product development/manufacturing business and marketing firm, where I was involved in projects ranging from automation to agricultural and veterinary products. My background has strengthened my appreciation of analysis and a systematic approach – which is very helpful in the financial industry – and has given me a special familiarity with industrial and energy sectors.
I enjoy spending time with my family and am involved in Church and Bible studies. I have been involved in 4-H, photography, and public speaking, with dairy goat, Boer goat, and Beefmaster associations. I taught manufacturing labs at A&M and have also taught welding classes for local youth and adults.
