Prior to becoming an investment professional in 1996, Gay Ann was employed by two Fortune 500 Companies in cost accounting. She currently holds the title of Senior Managing Principal of Swan Street Financial, LLC, offering products and services through Benjamin F. Edwards.
Gay Ann is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. To earn the CFP® designation, she completed an approved educational program, passed a rigorous examination and met stringent experience requirements. She also adheres to a professional Code of Ethics and fulfills annual continuing education requirements to remain aware of current planning strategies and financial trends. Gay Ann was born and raised in the Terre Haute area. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Indiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. In 2009, Gay Ann renovated the historic Blumberg building which houses Swan Street Financial. The structure, which was built in 1894, is furnished with period antiques.
Gay Ann lives in eastern Vigo County where she pursues interests in gardening, wildlife management and the preservation of historic properties. As the mother of five children, Gay Ann understands firsthand the importance of investment planning in providing for those you love.
Gay Ann has assembled a team of professionals to offer you comprehensive investment planning services. As your financial advisor, Gay Ann leads the team and coordinates the investment planning process for you. She will help identify your goals and will work with you to implement a series of strategies that can help realize your vision for the future.
Jen Jackson – Account Administrator
Jen Jackson joined Swan Street Financial in February 2018 as Office Manager, and she was promoted to Account Administrator in October 2019. Jen grew up on a farm in rural Paris, Illinois, and has been a resident of Terre Haute and the Wabash Valley for over thirty years. She started her working career in the medical field as a Medical Assistant and later transitioned into office and administrative work, including several years of processing accounts payable for Hamilton Center, Inc. and Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. Jen went back to college late in life and graduated in May 2018 with her Associates degree in Accounting.
Jen is a mother to one adult daughter, Tessa, and hopes to enjoy grandchildren in the future. Her interests include reading, live theater and musicals, and cuddling with her cats. Jen volunteers for Writers on the River, which helps support Thistle Farms, an organization that assists women survivors of trafficking, prostitution, and addiction.
Andrew Kelley joined Swan Street Financial in December 2019 as Operations Manager. Andrew grew up in Terre Haute and loves to call this city home. After his time of service in the United States Air Force ended, Andrew has pursued a career in Finance through employment as a Branch Manager with a regional bank and a Pension Representative with the Indiana Laborer’s Union. At Swan Street Financial, Andrew is eager to put his knowledge to work with our team and clients.
Andrew is a husband to Leah and a father to Addison, Kasen and Jaxton. He and his wife are expecting their fourth child later this year. Andrew enjoys living an active lifestyle, playing sports and games with his children, and taking his wife on dinner dates and weekend getaways. He also serves as Youth Pastor at Union Christian Church in Terre Haute with students ranging in age from 11-18.
What is an AAMS®? Earning the ACCREDITED ASSET MANAGEMENT SPECIALISTSM, or AAMS®, certification from the College for Financial Planning means that a financial advisor has successfully completed a course of study, passed an exam, and is compliant with a Code of Ethics, which includes agreeing to abide by the Standards of Professional Conduct. In addition, the designation is subject to renewal requirements every two years, which in includes the completion of 16 hours continuing education, and a reaffirmation to the Code of Ethics.
