Brett joined Benjamin F. Edwards & Co. in 2012 as associate advisory analyst with Advisory Services. He is responsible for conducting due diligence on money managers for the Benjamin F. Edwards Separately Managed Portfolios program and serves as co-portfolio manager on the Benjamin F. Edwards Mutual Fund Portfolios program. In doing so, he works closely with Lockwood Advisors on money manager selection and initiation. Additionally, Mr. Stehl performs the due diligence oversight of the Benjamin F. Edwards Exchange Traded Fund Portfolios, Russell Model Strategies, and Lockwood advisory programs.

Previously, Brett served in similar roles as a research analyst at institutional investment consulting firms in St. Louis, where he gained valuable experience performing money manager due diligence.

Brett is a graduate of Southern Illinois University – Carbondale where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. In addition, he holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), and FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses. In his free time, Brett likes to spend time with his wife and two children. His hobbies include playing and watching sports, music, and exploring new restaurants.
