OVERVIEW
I started working as a financial advisor in 2000 after an 11-year career as an offensive lineman for the New Orleans Saints. My career in the NFL was a tremendous experience and opportunity but it also came with the added responsibility of managing the wealth accumulated in a prudent manner. My decision to enter the financial services industry was a natural extension of helping others address many of the same issues I had to address in my personal life. My clients benefit from my unique experience and education. I am a certified financial planner® professional who has developed and refined a process that puts the pieces of my client’s financial puzzle in place as their life unfolds and their needs evolve.
When we work together I am the navigator of your financial sailing ship. You are the captain and set the ship’s direction with your short-term and long-term goals. My role is to devise a plan that helps get you from where you are today to where you want to go.
While on this “voyage” the winds will change, the currents will change, and a storm or two will likely be encountered. As your navigator, it is my role to focus on the things that matter and that can be controlled. There is a famous quote in sailing that says, “It is the set of the sails and not the direction of the wind that determines which way we go.” I am responsible for “setting the sails” during your voyage.
