MY PROFESSIONAL APPROACH
Trust. When it comes to investment planning and preparing an investment approach that helps you meet your needs, it all starts with trust. However, trust doesn’t happen overnight. It develops over time in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and respect. This is one of the things that I have learned in my 18 years as a financial advisor.
This is also why I believe it is important to spend time with my clients and get to know them. After all, no two clients are alike and the same goes for their investment plan. When we work together, I’ll ask questions and listen to your answers. Your responses will guide us as we develop a plan that addresses your unique financial situation and tolerance for risk.
Finally, we’ll put that plan into action and meet periodically to evaluate its progress. During those meetings, we’ll also catch up on any developments that may require us to adjust our direction. For me, this is what client-first service is all about.
MY BACKGROUND
Drawn by their client-centered approach to financial services, I joined Benjamin F. Edwards & Co. in 2017 as a financial advisor in our Jonesboro office. I began my financial services career in 1999, and I’m passionate about educating clients and helping them achieve their goals through proper planning and investment strategies.
Outside of work, I like to spend time with my wife, Haley (Wimpy), and our two children, Ava Grace and Lane Timothy. As a family, we love to spend time outdoors—especially at Norfork Lake. I’m active in my church and community where I volunteer with several organizations. In addition, I enjoy attending live concerts, running, traveling and watching my children in their various activities.
Last, I enjoy officiating Division 1 Men’s College Basketball. I’m an avid fan of basketball, and I’ve had the opportunity as an Official to travel the country and meet a variety of coaches, players and cities for almost 20 years.
