My Professional Approach
As a financial advisor, I firmly embrace the principle of putting my clients first and working with them in an atmosphere characterized by trust, integrity and mutual respect.
My client-first commitment to you begins by asking questions and listening to your responses about your current situation and plans for the future. Are you caring for a family? What are your income needs now and during retirement? Are you transitioning your wealth to the next generation?
For me, successful financial planning and investing are much more than crunching numbers and understanding the latest market trends. As much as people need to know about financial markets and investments, they also need to know about themselves. I believe a large part of investing involves investor behavior.
As we discuss these issues, we’ll work side-by-side to evaluate your current financial picture and explore your investment time horizon and your tolerance for risk. Each of these steps will help us develop a personalized investment program that will be designed to meet your current and projected needs.
Drawn by their client-centered approach to financial services, I joined the Benjamin F. Edwards & Co. office located in Wheaton, IL in 2016. I began my financial services career in 1987, and I’m passionate about educating clients and helping them achieve their goals through proper planning and investment strategies.
Outside of work, I like to spend time with my wife, Jennifer; and our three children—Catherine, Jack and Grace. Whether it’s biking, hiking, or playing tennis, I love to be outdoors. I’m also voracious reader and I enjoy playing all card games—from Uno to Bridge.
In addition, through a wonderful organization, All God’s Children, I have made more than 10 visits to Honduras, volunteering in two orphanages and other ministries where we have developed important relationships with children and young adults of Honduras.
