Three Things to Watch
- All eyes will be on Nvidia this week as the public company with the world’s largest market cap reports earnings on Wednesday. With the focus and demand surrounding the artificial intelligence space and its role as a leading chip maker, the company has consistently been able to beat projections and move markets.
- Major retailers Walmart, Ross Stores and Target will also report earnings and provide important information on the state of the consumer.
- With the odds of another rate cut in December falling, the markets will pay close attention to the multiple (nine scheduled) U.S. Federal Reserve (Fed) speakers scheduled for next week.
Three Things to Know
- Netflix said 60 million households worldwide tuned in as Jake Paul defeated Mike Tyson, with the event peaking at 65 million streams. The subscription streaming service also said 50 million households watched Katie Taylor take on Amanda Serrano, making it the most-watched professional women’s sporting event in U.S. history. The fight was also streamed in more than 6,000 bars and restaurants in the United States, setting the record for the sport’s largest commercial distribution. (Source: CNBC)
